Blog 4: Suffragette review

Hi everyone, today I will write about Suffragette, this movie was release at 2015 and show how the women fought for have the right to vote at England. Well, in general I like that movie because I think is very important that we know the history how was born of the feminist movement, and too show  how the women oppressed by the patriarcal power and this has been normalize for the society.

My favorite character is Maud Watts, the protagonist this movie, I like this character because she after her husband, Sonny, separate her from her son, she managed to overcome. She after that concentrate in the movement and obtain the vote for women, I admire a Maud because she renounce at many things for manage that everyone women were heard.

My favorite scene is when Emmeline Pankhurts after climbing  the balcony and talk at all women she manage break out of the police and meet with Maud and  speak with her and tell her that never to surrender I think this is inspirational for all women

One thing I like it was how show the courage the all women and how never surrender at movement, also. I don't like when the husband the Maud take at her soon and he gives it in adoption this part is very sad, Sunny is a bad person.
